The Chenango County Farm Bureau is hosting an Agriculture Day Celebration on March 20, 2013. This year’s theme is: “Generations Nourishing Generations”. New York FFA State Secretary Leann M. Green will be doing a presentation.
There will be several legislators (and/or representatives), speakers invited (such as Kevin McCabe from the Governor’s Office & other legislators) and many exhibitors to visit with. Cooperative extension will present Nutritional information.
Agriculture is the number one industry in New York State and Chenango County. We will be recognizing the importance of agriculture today, our heritage of agriculture, and the hard working, dedicated farm families of Chenango County.
Your attendance would be greatly appreciated in making this meeting a success!
This March 20 Ag Day Program Starts at 11:30 a.m. at the Silo Restaurant, 203 Moran Rd, Coventry, NY (just off Rte. 206 between Greene and Bainbridge). $18 includes an excellent Buffet Luncheon and Dessert. Please RSVP 607-334-6061.
