National Scavenger Hunt Day is May 24 – are you ready for an adventure? Grab a basket and a camera and head outside to join in the fun!
See if you can find these things in and around your home and farm:
- Egg
- Feather
- Clover (extra points if it has four leaves)
- Cow patty
- Yellow flower
- Green crayon
- Mason jar lid
- Piece of string/twine at least one foot long
- Horseshoe
- Ear tag
- Small garden shovel
- Wooden spoon
- Apple
- Bottle cap
- Nail
- Pencil
And for more fun, start snapping photos:
- Picture of your foot next to an animal foot
- Picture of you standing on a tractor tire (doesn’t have to be attached to a tractor)
- Picture of you doing a chore
- Picture of you reading Country Folks
- Picture of you with a watering can
- Picture of you in someone else’s boots
- Picture of you on a tree stump
- Picture of you with an animal bigger than you
- Picture of you making a sandwich
