Pink Pumpkin Patch Foundation awards its 2017 grant to “Paint the Town Pink” for The Hormel Institute
ROCKY FORD, CO — The Pink Pumpkin Patch Foundation would like to formally congratulate Executive Director Zigang Dong, M.D., Dr. P.H. and Gail Dennison, Director of Public Relations and Development on behalf of “Paint the Town Pink” for The Hormel Institute on being chosen as the 2017 recipient of our $15,000 breast cancer research grant. The foundations selection committee carefully reviewed all applications and concluded that the monies collected by the foundation would have the most impact by funding the team at The Hormel Institute for a second year. We applaud their dedication in breast cancer research and are thrilled to contribute to their search in finding a cure for breast cancer.

The Hormel Institute is a biomedical research center with scientists and collaborators working together to accelerate discoveries leading to improved health. Their research contributes to the development of new prevention and treatment therapies for cancer and other chronic diseases.
